This menu is used to enable and disable two options within Scan. The specific option is enabled if there is check mark next to it, and disabled if the check mark is missing. The check mark functions as a indicator, so if an item is checked, selecting it will turn the check mark (and the option) off. Selecting an unchecked item will display the check mark and enable the option.
